Note, this camp runs Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (June 8th-10th) from 9am to 12pm.  It is a FREE summer camp, paid for by the Friends of the Joseph Priestley House, where children can learn about Joseph Priestley’s life in Northumberland.  We are so excited to be able to offer this summer experience!
All children going in to grades 1st through 6th for the 2026/2027 school year are eligible.  Registration is first come to the first 20 students, and you will be emailed to confirm your registration.
Camp Coordinator Jo Ann Long, retired teacher in Shikellamy School District, has planned several interesting and creative activities so campers can become familiar with Dr. Priestley in Northumberland. Crafts, games, stories, snack time, and visits with local historical characters are part of each day’s agenda.
