ARRRRRR you ready to set sail on a treasure-hunting voyage? Pirate Adventure Camp is a week-long, action-packed adventure where young swashbucklers design, build, explore, and imagine their way across the high seas. Campers will work together to design and construct a pirate ship, create pirate accessories and animal sidekicks, and prepare for a simulated voyage to a series of “islands,” each featuring its own treasure hunt. Along the way, children will engage in hands-on learning through map-making and reading, solving riddles and puzzles, and exploring the science and engineering behind sailing and life at sea.

Throughout the week, campers will: 🏴‍☠️ Design and build a pirate ship and nautical props 🏴‍☠️ Create pirate costumes and animal companions 🏴‍☠️ Learn basic map-making, navigation, and problem-solving skills 🏴‍☠️ Sing sea shanties, tie nautical knots, and complete collaborative challenges 🏴‍☠️ Explore local green spaces and our downtown neighborhood as part of the adventure activities are designed to encourage teamwork, creativity, movement, and critical thinking, with opportunities for both imaginative play and hands-on engineering.
